Ethiopan woman

 

The next picture was taken by the french Eric Lafforgue, he's photographer since 2006. He started publishing his photos on flickr and has a great succecs with his photos from Papua, New Guinea, in fact a frech editor was interested to plublishing a book with that photos: Papous. That was how he start to receive professional works offers and now he's famous by this travel photos.

In the picture we can see a ethiopian woman, she's Miss Aki Tuna from the Borana tribe. He photo was taken in january of 2014.

I like this photo because I think she's incredible beautifull but she looks sad and the lights generate a contrast between the bright colors and this expression, further enhancing this look.

In his flickr, Eric say that the woman in the picture wishes to be a doctror, but she doesn't go to school because she needs to help her family as a shepherd.

Food lover :)

I love cooking, for the holidays and special ocassions I like to spend time in the kitchen with my mom and even if I like to cooking everything, desserts and drinks are my favourites.

There is a special recipe that my mom cooks that I like to do and that is spinach stew. Since I have lived alone for 3 years I have had to learn how to cook different things and now that I started to be vegetarian like 4 mounths ago I have had to investigate more about what to eat to supply the meat and vary.

Over time this recipe has changed and become one of my favourite to eat and cook. The first thing I do is boil the spinach, while cooking I chop the other ingredients in little pieces: onion, garlic, tomato, red pepper and grated carrots. In a pot I fry the onion, garlic and red pepper for a minutes to release flavor, then I add the tomato and the spinach preecooked and some milk to keep moist and mix. The next thing to do is add some breadcrumbs and cream to unify everything and mix all the ingredients for a few minutes to obtain the desired texture. Finally I add salt, black papper and a little of turmeric, mix a few minutes more and is ready to eat! I occasionally accompany the stew with baked potatoes seasoned with butter, rosemary or oregano mand salt.

My favourites technology things

I have two things that I can concider my favourites. The first one is my new liner 3-7 tattoo machine, I saved money all the summer to buy it, it is my firts professional one so I can see the differences in my works. I buy it in Cloud machines, machines that are handmade by Armando Ruiz, he makes machines like 8 years ago so he really knows about the industry. As it is handmade I choose the form and the color that is purple with black. I use it every time that I tattoo and even if I sound ridiculous I absolutely love it.

Other of my favourites things are my iphone. I have a cellphone that I hate, not caring and I end up losing it. I'm not the kind of person who needs to stay connected all the time so when I lost it I didn't care much. In the summer of 2013 I decided go to Peru and Ecuador with a friend so my mother think that I need a cellphone and gave me the iphone. Since I have it I become in a total dependent, I love that is simple to use, takes great fotos and is very fast. Now that I have it I know that my life without it don't be the same and I'd missing all the time, is my favourite thing, I carry it with me always.

Expectations for this semester :)

I started this year with a lot of new purposes, in my personal growth and in the arts thoghts. In this time I 'd like to learn more about drawing, tattoo, feeding and spirituality, also I'll like to practice more sports and organice better my time because my schedules are a chaos.

I really expect learning more from my teachers, I want to absorb all the information they have and incorporate and apply to my interests and my work.

I also expect I can have more time to dedicate to tattoo, investigate and studying more, define my style and of course making more tattoos.

About the sports I started to trainning crossfit again and although I'm sore and so happy to come back. I'd like to trainning basketball too in a near future.

I hope that I can make all this things this semester, also still have time to see my friends, family and my loved pets. I hope finish all my class well, have fun and stay happy and motivate.

My Auto-biography

I was born in Rancagua, 21 years ago. My home city was Pichidegua, I have little memories of my life in there, but they are very happy. When I was 5 years old we moved to San Vicente de Tagua Tagua in a first time for my parent's job, but then my dad, who is a teacher, decided to make a school, so we still live in there until now. San Vicente is a small town, peaceful and quiet, there are beautifull places all around; rivers, hills, valleys, is a great place to stay if you enjoy the nature.

When I still lived in Pichidegua I studied in Santa Ines school and when my dad create the school I started to study there, in fact I was the first registered. I studied there my whole childhood and teen years, so I made there my best friends.

In San Vicente I lived with my dad, my mother, who is a nurse by the way, my big brother Hernan who is studying medicine, my two dogs Simon and Alfonso and my cat Cucho. I loved my life in there so I visit them frequently, also I miss my pets so much.

I moved to Santiago in 2012 when I decided to study art, untill now I live alone and even if somethimes I fell so lonely and little sad, the most part of time I am very grateful to have my own space and do whatever I want to do.

My hobbies when I was child included drawing, basquetball, handball, videogames, spent a lot of time with my friends or in the computer. Now there are a little differences, the sports still are part of my life, but I prefer the gym and recently the crossfit. I like so much to spend time in nature, ride a bike and travel, go to concerts or the cinema and of course I love to be with muy friends, even if we can't see each other too much.

In 2013 for a different problems I decided to live the university. In that moment I learned how to tattoo and definitely was the best thing I do, that makes me so much happy and in the future I expect to become in a tattoo artist and open my own store.

 

Childhood series

When I was a child I saw a lot of tv. I grown up with a big brother and I like to be with him all the time, so the first childhood series I saw was The power rangers, Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball and things like that. Some peolple can say that thoose series was from boys, but I enjoy to watch them and spend time with my brother.
There was a particular tv channel that i love to see, that was Cartoon Networks, until now I remember the comercial's songs. Some of the series that I like to see was Cow & Chicken, I love the idea that the animals act like humans and the characters make me laught so much, especially Red guy and the cousin Boneless chicken, but my favorites one was I.M Weasel. I'm still enjoy this serie a lot.
A little more bigger I was fan of Nickelodeon, my favorites series from the channel was Sponge Bob and The fairy oldparents, who wasn't want fairy oldparent making all you wishes real, or living under the see... well I'll love it.
Now that I'm 21, I can say that my favorites serie of all time is The Simpsons, I can see the chapters over and over again and I still laught like the first time I saw, I really love it. Even I know from memory some episodes and when I see the serie with a friend we say the dialogue of the characters.
